Manners are always welcome!

Some days are rough. I am not perfect by any means, but my mother raised me to have manners and try to be polite to others even when they are rude or dismissive. Taking a moment to thank  someone for opening a door or acknowledging when a car lets you into traffic seems like a small thing. But it really isn't. People do appreciate being treated with respect. Just my 2 cents on the topic, or maybe a quarter.

A Welcome Post

I also do share posts on my Instagram and Facebook pages, but I thought that I would also share some ideas and thoughts here. Lately it has been about being against bullying, especially cyber-bullying and verbal abuse. What is sad to me is that women have been treating each other badly. Historically, women have often had to deal with hurtful behavior from aggressive men. But for me to witness specific exchanges between women during this past week has been very disappointing. Please think before you speak words that can't be taken back. Cruelty is never acceptable.
