Three Worlds Collide

Inspired by the song and music video "Dance This World Away" performed by Mr. Rick Springfield

Now watch carefully for there is more to follow
Visions of past, future and mirrors of tomorrow
One bandleader, rebel and children’s hour host
Of tattered possible future...none want to boast

On The Uncle Dick Show, young minds learn fast
Puppets sing of nuclear fallout and errors in past
Cheesy host strikes a pose with sly wink in his eye
Audience is charmed, but in instant next they cry

Roused rebel pounds Earth, staring at his ruined hands
Praying for final saving grace in this wasted barren land
Clutching this odd trio in diverse tune dimensions
Falling free in search for ultimate comprehension

Fuzzy, multicolored puppets dance to and fro
On a relentless cheery education friendly show
Mustached leader points, daring you not to blink
Do spinning fans wonder what he really thinks?

Rebel refuses to see Future carved in unyielding stone
A daring challenger made of human Flesh and Bone
To fight and exult, but no fade into desperate blue

Flying forward in a determined quest to break...
Through
